Requirements for non immigrant visa:
A foreigner applies for a non-immigrant visa when he/she wants to stay or work in Thailand. This visa has several categories:
* diplomatic visa (D) is for those employed by an embassy,
* a business visa (B)
* or a mass media visa (M) are for accredited business or press representatives,
* a dependent visa (O),
* an expert visa (EX) are for those performing skilled or expert work,
* an investor visa (IM) is for foreigners who set-up their companies under the Board Of Investment BOI
* and a study/education visa (ED) is for teachers.
* Official ( F). Performance of official duties (involving the Thai government).
* Capital Investment ( IM ).

Hi all,
I am resident of CA and have my I140 application approved from Nebraska. My I485 application was filed in TSC. Is this a issue since according to USCIS, CA residents should file in the NSC. Will my I485 will be rejected because of this issue.

Hello,
I am currently working for employer A on a 6th year H1 with approved 140 petition. MY current H1 is expiring June 2010. In the meantime I got an good offer from employer B who applied for H1 transfer using my approved 140 petition and I got an RFE. My question is god forbid , that if my H1 transfer petition is denied with employer B , can I continue working for Current employer A and if he can file for my H1 extension, come June? Also would there be any recursions, considering i already applied the H1 transfer now with the new employer ?
Please advice and i thank you in advance

When preparing docs to provide response for 221g form, I have filled DS-156 form at http://https://evisaforms.state.gov/ds156.asp. On click of Continue, it generated a PDF with randon bar code. Printed that online. And sent to docs to VFS Hyderabad officer.
I was told that bar code is wrong, I should fill up another DS-156 form. Are they looking for DS-156 submitted at the time of interview that has HDFC receipt number as bar code.
Please let me know if you have faced this problem earlier.
They have retained my wife passport asked to produce to copy of current visa of husband. Can I reply to this online.
Please reply ASAP

Just curous - if anyone has experience of filling W8-BEN form. Our bank has sent a letter addressed to my wife requiring her to fill that form.
Does anyone know we have to fill this form?
