H-1B employers need to be aware that June 30, 2009 will be the last day that the Department of Labor�s LCA Online system will be operational. As of July 1, 2009, all LCAs for H-1B and E-3 cases will need to be submitted through the iCERT portal (http://icert.doleta.gov/) and that means the end of instant LCA certifications.
This has very important implications for the timing of H-1B and E-3 applications as they relate to new hires and extensions. Employers will need to allow for delays in LCA certifications of at least 7 days rather than the instant certifications that were previously issued.

I am silent visitor of this forum for last few months though, I seek some advice form you guys in forum. I just got I140(On May 5th 2008) approved and my priority date 23rd Jan 2004. As per the visa current bulletin I am with in the cutoff dates. I have job offer but I did not accept so far because I 140 was not approved but after I 140 I thought of changing the job (same offer) using AC21 portability, since I fall in current cutoff dates,
My question is this safe to change the job when priority date fall with in current cutoff dates?
GOT RFE on I 140 on Apri 1st 2008
RFE relied on MAY 1st 2008
I 140 aproved on May 05 2008
PD is 23 Jan 2004

My 485 application for EB2 was filed with USCIS on Sunday, July 1st 2007. My lawfirm is not sure if it will be accepted by USCIS since the filing was done in the weekend. Any comments? There could be lot of us in a similar situation. For those who are in the same boat, I would appreciate any updates you have received from your lawyer.

Hello,
I am currently working for employer A on a 6th year H1 with approved 140 petition. MY current H1 is expiring June 2010. In the meantime I got an good offer from employer B who applied for H1 transfer using my approved 140 petition and I got an RFE. My question is god forbid , that if my H1 transfer petition is denied with employer B , can I continue working for Current employer A and if he can file for my H1 extension, come June? Also would there be any recursions, considering i already applied the H1 transfer now with the new employer ?
Please advice and i thank you in advance

i have it on Nikon mount, and one of the samples i tested had a back focus issue. i just bought the one that didnt. Sigma is real good at fixing/replacing defective lenses

2. I am on L1A with company A from February 2008 which is valid till December 2010 (my 7 year limit on L1A ends by December 2010).

Will it be ok to change employers multiple times on EAD with in shrt span of time difference?
yes, after being a 'chicken' for so long, I changed job on AC21 six months back. And since then changed twice after that. (once forced due to economy, second time moved to a better position) in fact now I am loving the freedom that comes with EAD. Only make sure you stick to same profession (programming) other things like salary or job title etc doesn't matter. Good Luck!

Law.com reports that the American Bar Association is being pressured to move a conference in Phoenix scheduled for next week after its co-sponsor for the event, the National Legal Aid & Defender Association, announced it was pulling out of the event. Other groups that planned to send representatives, like the City Bar Justice Center in New York, called for the conference location to be moved. My sister applied for her EAD renewal online and paid $340 for it. She filed her I 485 in Oct 2007. There are instructions on the I 765 form that there is no fee for those who filed there first EAD after July 2007. So would that fee be refunded? Has anyone experienced this kind of thing?

I made address changes to pending EAD renewal and I-485 yesterday in the afternoon for myself and spouse. Same day later in the evening I got email saying CPO for EAD renewal. This is a story of 8/20/2008.
I tried called 800 number and was told that they can't verify that address was successfully changed on the application.THey don't have access to personal information. They are asking me to take Inforpass to verify the address.
There is no LUD on either I-485 or EAD renewal after address change. Is LUD an indication that address change has been done? There are no infopass available for 2 months ( I will keep checking if somebody cancels )
Does anybody has any pointer as to how I can verify address change without infopass

My I-140 was approved April 30,2007. The appoval letter indicated that not yet elligible for change of status. The I-485 was returned together with the checks we paid. Please clarify and what can I do next other than waiting?

My Eb3 application is July 2002.
It was untouched until this month, where it is undergoing 'initial review'.
Considering they haven't looked at it in 8 years .. I'm happy :).
Any ideas on whether the Oct bulletin will see this move from Jan 2002 to a say Dec 2002?

Hi,
I'm trying to bend text into a circle. I want the text to be standing up and then to spin the camera around the outside of the text.
Is there anyway I can bend the text in swift 3d into a circle or do I need to produce each letter seperately and then rotate and position?
Or, can I import the bent (circular) text from another application then 3d ify it in swift 2.0 ?
